The electron transport chain is a series of complexes that transfer electron. Electron transport chain couple of chemical reaction between an electron donor and electron acceptor to the transfer of iron across a membrane through the set of mediating biochemical reactions.
ETC is the transfer of an electron from NADH and FADH2 to oxygen via multiple carriers. Electrons derived from NADH and FADH2 combine with O2 and energy released from this oxidation/reduction reaction is used to derive the synthesis of ATP and ADP.
